What is my car worth?

86 t-type blacked out, 140k miles
Im thinking about selling my car and getting something newer. this is my daily driver and would like to get something a little more comfortable and that does not need any body work. i hate body work. What is a fair asking price

THE BAD
BODY
-needs both rear quarter panel and
-front passenger doors have rust
-lots of rust spots(roof above passenger door, trunk below spoiler, the usual spots, was a northern car)
-needs new body bushings
-needs bumper fillers

INTERIOR
-ripped set cover(i have new ones)
-door glass needs to be adjusted
-crack on top speaker panel

THE GOOD
The car runs great and is my daily driver. No smoke and oil changed more then it needs to be.

Drive train
-comp cam 982 springs
-power plate
-ls1 3.5” maf
-translator
-btsc boost control
-k&n cold air kit
-2.5” exhaust flowmaster hi flow cat
-new coil
-smc alcohol kit
-2800 red stripe stall converter
-walbro 340 fuel pump hot wired
-009 injectors
-aluminum radiator
-external trans and oil coolers
-dual electric fans
-trans rebuilt 2 years ago with high performance parts
SUSPENTION
-rebuild front end 2 years ago
-16” centerline rims new tires
-rear upper Southside control arms
-Rear lower Hotchkiss control arms

Interior
-scanmaster 2.1
-B&M megashifter
-new weatherstriping kit
-new carpet
-2 gauge center pod on console
-boost gauge
-cyberdyne electronic fuel pressure gauge
-in car boost control btsc
-in car alcohol control
-dual mp3 usb cd player
-pioneer speakers front rear
-cold a/c

EXTRA PART
-te60 turbo needs rebuild. In good shape should cost 250 to rebuild
-full seat cover kit black on gray grand national style
-weatherstripping kit

$3500 tops--most "hate rust/ body work"--perhaps more than you do. Seems you concentrated too much on "performance" and not the whole package...

As an aside, it cost me $350 for turbo rebuild (wheels OK) via Limit Engrg (+ shipping to/from)...

Good Luck!

Eh, start at 6k and let any potential buyers go from there. If its a good driver but needs body work and some interior work, be prepared to sell the car for less.

I'd say it would be hard to sell it for more than 5 grand, but you'd find a buyer at 5.
