What ALKY fuel to run?

What type of fuel do you run thru your alky injection kit? Is any better than others? VP has a few choices, M1 (straight) M3 with lube added and M5. I ordered Razors kit yesterday and he spent a good 10 minutes answering my questions and somehow i forgot the fuel question. I decided to ask you guys tonight casue he may be busy due to the weather or the new bride. Should i stay away from alky with lube? Has anyone had bad results using a specific brand? Thanks.

I hope the kit arrives by friday (weather premitting)

BTW the alky section has this in it but M3 with the lube was recommended by Razor.

I run methanol when I can, if not that I take a trip over to Ace/Lowes and pick up a can of denatured alky.

I get Methanol from Smiley's racing on the Mannsfield-Kennedale BUSINESS Highway. About 3 miles down on the left south of I-20. I think it was 4.25 / gal last time. Since you are in Aledo that is not too far from you. just bring your new fuel container and get a bottle of the redline "fuel lube" to mix in it. He sells that there too. Unless your new pump and kit can take the straight methanol and you do not need it?

Dailydriver- Thanks!! I actually stopped by the race track at kennedale today about 4 pm. Of course i did not know i was going to be in the neighborhood and did not have a jug with me. It was priced at 4.50 a gallon for VP M1. I would rather find the VP M3 but no big deal. Maybe i can find some banana flavored lube to mix in the M1. Thanks for the heads up on Smiley's and i will call them thrusday.
