New torque converter no threads?

I just got my art carr torque converter (used) and there are no threads in it to except the bolts? Do you use a nut and bolt on this kinda setup? It doesn't look like there has ever been threads in it either?

Thanks Brandon!

It's not odd. None of the bigger stalls have nuts welded in. You need something like these Brandon. ARP 230-7303 - ARP Torque Converter Bolts - summitracing.com
