what guage wire is used with the small electrical gauges?

Anyone know the correct gauge size for the wires that run from the small electrical gauges (VDO)? I am going to need to extend mine and need this info. Thanks if you can help!

te45a, 212-224 roller cam, girdled, je pistons, crower forged rods, blood, sweat, tears, Ebay front mount(seems to work good) and empty bank account. But the smile is priceless
