more broken parts pix

got it all torn down. Was pretty easy, most of the stuff fell out. Already bought a short block. The crank did not break and the bottom of the block is ok. Guess that RJC girdle works.

Massive! Try Lowes & Home Depot for the Contractor size J-B Weld.
Can you re-use the girdle or is it toast too?

I would definitely check the crank for straightness and magnaflux it.

girdle is fine, had a couple dings in it. The crank is no good, got hamered , just didn't break. The parts are 2 pistons, crank, and the cam in 4 pieces.

***89 Pontiac Turbo TA***
Walbro 340, Flowmaster muffler, otherwise stock.
***96 Buick Riviera***
3.6" blower pulley,otherwise stock.Runs 15s on a hot day at 4000 plus pounds weight, with the A/C on.
***84 Jeep Cherokee 2door 4x4***
87 Turbo Regal motor,thm700R4,rusty wild child,definitely a restoration awaiting progress.

I had a rod snap at the wrist pin.. looked identical to that. Girdle got hammered by the rod.
