I bought a Precision piece from Cal Hartline. I got a pretty good deal on it and its awesome. last year all I added was a TE60 turbo, Precision Stock Loc. I/C and downpipe and that took my car from a 12.70 @ 107mph to 11.30's @ 119mph at 22psi boost.

Fits good, looks great and it must work! Any of the intercoolers offered by different vendors are good. I guess it all depends on your budget.

No new track times with new combo. Old combo went 11.30's @ 119mph.

I haven't run mine yet, but I can tell you that the Gbodyparts.com one mates right up and clear the sway bar with no problem.

Thanks. I was just seeing how close we were to each other, as low 11's to 11.00's is my goal

The Precision SLIC has already been in the 9's on Orlando's car without the aid of alky~

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

It is definitely a quality piece with the high efficiency Garrett bar&plate core and the main advantage I see over the competition is the 3" inlet/outlet especially on the cars that are really looking to push the limits with the SL.

I would say for cars that are mid 10's or slower any good aftermarket SL will work fine and especially if you are also using alky injection to further drop the charged temps.

I have a Precision & will say they sure a Pretty Lookin & have the 3" in & 3" out! Some others dont & to me it was important. With all the other makes on the market coming out lately, I would guess that performance wise they are all pretty similar. I mean, most of us are in the 10-12 sec range so will one make you that much faster than the other?? I Doubt It!!
The Precision fits great, quality peice & they are one of the originals out there. I am happy with their Turbo's & happy with the SLIC they sell. I think they are a good company & been making us parts a long time, so take it from there? I will say again, they sure look great & fitment is Perfect!!

This is on Melissa's car, right Dan? If my memory serves me correct you guys were previously running the CAS V4 SLIC. Will be interesting to see if you see any gains especially from going from the 2.5" inlet/outlet to the 3" on the Precision. That is why I personally like the SLICs, they work great on true street cars and there is also the stealth factor considering everyone usually expects a fast turbo car to have a big FMIC or one of them ice boxes.

i put gmbodyparts stretched slic on 23 row polished almm. . went from a fmic to this . could fell the diff. quicker off the dropped the temp. down 170 with the air on .the temp. of the air going to the motor stays around 100 115 deg. . the temp comeing out of the turboat 150 to 160 thats at 70 to 75 mph. when i would get on it the temp out of turbo would max out the scanmaster but temp. going in the motor would be about 190 befor the alky . big diff. in temp love the ic looks great and work better .
