Hi all this is my first post here.
I'm the proud owner of a 1997 Buick skylark(the V6 kind). I bought it out of the classifieds and it's in great condition 75,000 miles and runs good. I want to make it a little bit less dull. it's currentally gold with tan interior I'm thinking about painting it black but from there i have no idea where to go. I'm thinking engine and aftermarket parts. If anyone has any ideas please tell me I'm open to almost anything. My budget is about 1000$ but don't let that limit anything. |

That car has the weener 3100 V-6 in it. Do a search. Tons of things for it out there on the internet. We are mostly old school Buick 3.8 here. The only good advice you'll get is that your car makes a good boat anchor.
Post back if you have a drivabilty problem. Otherwise you're on your own as far as modding goes.![]()

Theres the modded ecm, with a 180 thermostat and 91 octane requirement, and good shocks with good tires, but other than that, you aren't going to extract much out of that car.
