Oil Pump Problem ?? 87 Gn

Gasket for oil pump was leaking, so installed new gasket. Now I can not get oil preasure. Filled filter with oil(nothing) tried injecting oil down turbo oil line (nothing) removed cam sensor, hooked up drill to prime pump (nope) what am I missing? OH had 70 psi. before. Thank's guys for your time and help.

take it back apart,look at pressure valve to see it move .....

PAck pump gears w/ grease. that way the pump primes

+2 pack the pump with white grease or vasaline.

Don't need vaseline...remove top oil cooler line from radiator...need a small funnel...put it in the cooler line...slowly pour oil in until it's near top of funnel...spin the oil pump backwards(counterclockwise)...you'll see the oil from the line being sucked in...go slow...jusy spin it a little...do it maybe 3 times...then hook the cooler back up...now spin the pump clockwise...should feel the drill start to drag...should have pressure...
