Stainless headers
Hello, Got a question about headers. Are the headers you see on ebay for anywhere from $125 to $150 any good? There must be a dozen sets of them. Can they really increase your horsepower in a fairly stock application? Will they work with a 3" downpipe without crowding and without alterations? I got a bad header on the passenger side and was thinking about replacing the headers with a set of these. I don't expect to do any major race applications. I have 33# injectors, pitbull chip, and 14" K&N air filter. Your opinions are very respected.

Stock headers can take you into the 10's without modifications. Stick with what you have and put that $150 somewhere else.

My bud has been round and round with 2 different sets of e bay headers ATR/KB style. Cut, weld, bent, leaks, v band ..you name it. He put the stockers back on and no worries.
He bought the Ebay headers since he was new to the GN's and thought it would be a great upgrade and the price lured him in.

The pitbull chip was in my car when I got it and after first joining this site I saw that It wasn't good for my application. Do you recommend the TT-chip? Or what chip would you recommend and where is the best place to get it?

I seem to remember the "original" guy who bought these headers, modified them to fit BUT, picked up 2 mph with no other changes in the 1/4. Soooo, if you have the time and skill, 2mph is a good improvement over the stockers
