The plan as of now is to have it running tomorrow or Wed and take it to the track Thursday night. Most of the niggling things we lacked for last weekend have been done.. parachute mount made, etc. Barring any complications, we're talking about taking it to Virginia this weekend to run it in the 1/4 and then Reynolds the following weekend.

Hey Shane, VMP's web site says they are having a big truck racing event this weekend. Doesn't look like any cars will be running - is there another track you can hit?

It looks and sounds GREAT guys. Good job, and Godspeed to ya!
You know......Godspeed....that's even faster than the Millenium Falcon! Maybe not as fast as SpaceballONE in "Spaceballs", though. (it goes "Ludacris speed") For those that haven't seen it: YouTube - Ludicrous speed, GO! Jay, you'll have to get one of those "Ludacris speed meters" for the car. Might come in handy.

Great! Sounds like an alcohol engine. It'll sound better when some heat builds up in the engine.
Don't be stingy with the fuel at transition.

One more tip. The alcohol makes a lot of water as a byproduct of combustion. If you're going to start the engine, make sure you reach operating temp before you shut it down for the night. On a cold start, water will collect in the cylinders. When you shut the engine down without enough heat in it, the water will sit around the rings and create rust rings in the cylinder. Nothing major, but you will see them when you tear the engine down if you let this happen. Speaking from experience. Don't just start the engine up for every Tom, Dick and Harry if you're not prepared to fully warm it up.
There's going to be a lot more to think about and take care of when running pure alcohol.

The KAM system does have wideband input and it does use it but the majority of the work is done with EGTs. It's a pretty nice system.
