Difference between non turbo and turbo Regal fuel pump sending units?
I'm going to be running a Weldon 2015 external pump and I still want to use a sending unit in my new sumped gas tank so that my VDO gauge in the GNX dash shows the correct fuel level. Is there a difference from the non turbo Regal fuel tank sending unit compared to the turbo cars? I'm not running a pump in there. Reason I ask, Inline Tube sells the 78-87 non turbo Regal sending unit for $115 while the turbo Regal sending unit is $289. All I will be essentially using the sending unit for is the float level.

were 2-brl carbs. w/o sumps. My guess would be the sender is the same. What happened to your old unit? Can you use it? BTW, if no one knows for sure, might give Brian a call/e-mail at gbodyparts.com. I'm sure he would know.
