Powerlogger... who out there is using it? Like it?

Hey guys, I know this is kind of new, but I might be ordering this thing really really soon, so I want some feedback on it.

Who has one, is using it, and can give a review on the product?

Im thinking of using it, plus the LC1 for all my tuning needs.

I have been using it for the last month or so and love it. It's easy to use, has a fast data update rate and has additional inputs for other sensors that you may want to add. It works on the later operating systems so you can use newer laptops. It's kind of like Direct Scan on steroids.

Jbenn911 did you use the stock MAP sensor to monitor the boost or use a 3rd party MAP sensor. Can you discribe your install thanks

I already had a 3bar MAP(GM, thinks it was for the TTA) in there for the Alky kit..simply tapped off the green wire and attached it to the loggers aux. input. Install was very straightforward.. If you previously had DirectScan, its just a matter of making sure contacts on the ECM are clean and hook it up. From there its a small bit of cutting to the bottom of the kick panel for the wiring(USB cable and a PS2 cable for the Aux Input of the PL). I have the USB cable running along the sill plate up to the seat for my laptop. The Aux Input cable is run inside the kick panel and up behind the dash where I mounted the Aux Input.. WBO2 was used with the analog outputs of my LM-1, EGT was with FT's EGT amp and a probe kit from Caspers, Fuel Pressure was tapped off the purple wire of my Autometer electric FP setup

Not to mention they are not even done with all the updates yet. They are going to have an upgrade for the scanmaster so you can retrieve data much quicker and more parameters without a laptop in the car. It just keeps getting better.

Yep! Definitely a trick piece....Best part is, doesnt need much of a laptop to make it run well... Anyone who's wondering what the deal is, should check out full throttle's forum.. Plenty of posts in the power logger section..

Dunno yet...Someone did post on FT's site, asking TurboBob the very same question... I'd think the only issue would be the USB driver for the unit.....
