has anyone used caspers ccci hotwire kit
i was just looking at caspers website and saw this does anyone have any feed back on this item

I've installed it on my 84 hot air, but its a must have (just my opin) for those cars being the guage wire from the firewall to the ignition is to small. Every once in a huge while, I'd get a small pop (backfire) when I was wot. That has yet to happen since installing the kit. I could have just upgraded the wire in my wiring harness and saved myself $80, but I liked the idea of tapping right from the battery post and going through the relay. Not sure of how much of a issue this is with the 86/87's
