Aluminum Vac. Block

I've got one with the fitting for vac. brakes (it's capped)
Should that tube fitting turn/spin in the block, or should it be tight?
Mine can move.
Thanks

All of the fittings should be removable (unscrew like a bolt). Just tighten it up and hopefully it isn't stripped although I can't see how it could be.

The vacuum line cap shouldn't spin. Try a small hose clamp on it.

If the tube is loose in the block, that will give you a vacuum leak. I would pull it/unscrew it, and put some sealer on it, or some loctite.

Ah the nipple is spinning in the block. Yes that's a vacuum leak. Seal it as Ormand says.

Man, I sure hope so, 'cause I'm running out of things to do to get rid of the knock.
Took the block off, tightened and sealed the nipple, used a new rubber cap with 2 zip-ties, put on a new gasket and used sealant on the 2 bolts.
I'll give it a try after the new fuel filter goes on - which will take either 3 minutes or 30+ to do, depending upon how lucky I am at the moment.
Thanks.
