Couple Air bag questions??

What is the best way to remove airbags from the springs? Will airbags do any justice on a car that has 1" lowering springs in it? Thanks -----Jeremy

Jeremy,

I would deflate and disconnect hoses. Raise (high as possible)and support the rear with stands on the frame. Place hyd. jack under the rearend disconnect the shocks and slowly lower rearend until springs are free. Then remove bags. Not sure if they help a lowered car or not, probably can't hurt.

OK, sounds easy enough. I am taking them off my 21K car and I would like to put them my 86. The only problem is that I intend on lowering the car. I already have 1" lowering springs but I havent put them on yet. Are you planning on coming to my meet this year? I would love to see that bueatiful car of yours again! Sure looked nice on the Power Tour last year!!!! ------Jeremy
