Times in sig were done on an OEM shortblock cept for 210/205 cam. Rest is stock.
Its a tough call.. everyone will say different things. And the more power you make.. the shorter the fuse. As Grumpy said... knock will bring the house of cards down in quick fashion. Case in point, a girdled shortblock is being assembled currently.. to keep things together, cuase as you said.. once you tasted 24.. you'll want 27.. then 30 ![]()

There seems to be a case for going to a girdle on the block somewhere around 600-650 hp. I'ts not like going over that will be instant death, but somewhere in that range the chances of driving over the crankshaft start to get higher, and the girdle is good insurance. Some folks have had problems at lower hp, though.. knock will kill the crank and bearings even at near stock hp, if it goes on long enough.

With the mods you have i dont think you will have any issues with the short block as long as there is no knock occuring. You will find your maximum flow potential of your injectors in short order especially with those heads. I say you will run out of injector long before your engine will hit its stress limit, so turn it up.
