Anyone with a 4.1 or higher than stock compression, I've got a question.

Is it normal for these things to rev extremely fast? By fast, I mean this motor revs as fast as my old one with the torque convertor disconnected. Normally I would be happy but I'm a little worried I might have too much compression. It's a long story but I had some trouble with the guy that ordered my pistons. Combo is in my sig. I haven't gotten to drive it yet so I have no idea at what boost level it will detonate at. Thanks for any replies.

The difference from a 3.8 to 4.1L is incredible.
BRC Pistons?, they screwed up my piston order. <sigh>

i put a 4.1 in with je pistons. i wouldn't say it revs faster, but keep in mind that the 4.1 has a larger bore and will pump more air than the 3.8, so the turbo wil push more air as well when reving the motor. unless you have an un-none piston i would not worry, sounds like you bought the parts and have the right piston. have fun with 4.1, love mine.
