Ive used royal purple for pretty much the whole life of my car. The engine has seen 8000 rpm a few times, and I only change the oil every 9-10k miles. I have no blowby, the compression is great and engine runs like a champ. I used RP sycromax in my manual tranny, and I wasnt impressed with it. It seemed to make shifting a little more notchy, but the engine oil seems great. I tried mobil 1 once, and the oil came out looking terrible. Every time I drain the RP, it still looks to be pretty clean.
