tps tuning, IAC, and O2 MV

I just installed my scanmaster today, and have been trying to tune it up. I have the TPS set at .42-.44 at idle, and it's reading 4.66 at wot. I can't seem to get the IAC to read any lower than 35, although I undersatnd it should be reading 20-25. And, my O2 MV is only at about 480, and the scanmaster info said it should be anywhere from 750-770. What am I doing wrong?

The o2s will be all over the place.
I like 790-810 @ WOT to be on the safe side.
On the IAC if I remember, you set it then you turn the car off and restart.
I think the IAC is good from 10-50?

I took it out for a spin, and found I had too much boost, so took care of that. But, when I first started it up, I got a service engine light, and it turned out it was # 13, the o2 code. The wiring is plugged into it, so it probably needs to be replaced, right?

Probably.
Watch your cc on the scanmaster, if they update fast your o2 is ok - slow = bad.

ok...I'll check it out. Any ideas on why I can't get the IAC down?? My knock gauge still keeps reading too much boost, also.

Don't know why it will not go down but I would not worry about it as it is in specs.
Worn TB could be letting some air in?

How does a knock guage read boost?

Sounds like you need a boost guage.

i would keep turning the boost down until I show little knock, then get a boost guage to see what you have.

You need a scan tool the knock gauge is allright but doesn't tell you what is really going on. Could be 2 degrees knock could be 20. Or could be false knock who knows?

The scanmaster could be used to find out, couldn't it?

Yes, the scanmaster tells the degree of knock.
It will be the number on the first setting on the left side.
The number on the right is the o2 number.
If you hit the 2 buttons on the left & right at the same time, it will get you the MPH of the highest knock & lowest 02. But, this will only be recorded if you went WOT.
I hope this is correct as I am going on memory and when you get old that starts to go like alot of other things.

Hey ES1, what exactly do you mean about watching the ccs going fast or slow? Im not quite sure what ccs are, havnt heard anything about that value......and Ive been wondering what it is. Would you be watching the ccs at idle, or cruise?
