Al Fayad savtyme ebay Lying Thief

I bought a set of GN taillights off of Ebay a while back from Al Fayd of London Ontario Ebay name savtyme email address savtyme@rogers.com And to say the least it was pretty disturbing. The taiillights were listed as perfect and I bid on them like they were. I won the auction and he sent them to me. I opened the box and here they were in a box with no padding and bezel to bezel. The first thing I noticed is that the black paint was wore off on the sharp edges on the ends. The middles had approx. 10 inches of cardboard taped around them which at this point I didn't remove. Called the guy up and tryed to reason with him and all he could say is that they were used so frustrated I filed and significantly different than described complaint on him. Next thing I know he files a complaint on me saying I didn't pay and tells me we were back to square one. Ebay then tells me I have to get a cashed receipt from the bank for the money order and then I have to take the taillights to a store that specializes in the item within 10 days before they return my money. I live in Montana and no such store exists so needless to say Ebay didn't do nothing for me. The guy offered me $25 of my money back or me send him the taillights back and he would refund my moneyback which being as he lied about everything else that was a lose all my money deal because I had no guarantee. So I guess this one is on me guys...just letting you know what your in for if you deal with this guy. I ended up with a $200 set of junk taillights

This morning I took them out of the box and removed the cardbaord that was taped around them and surprise surprise there were long deep scratches on the bezels and the passenger side taillight lense. What an Axxhole.

He pulled the same on me,but with a supposed "flawless" rear view mirror! The one he sent was worse than the one I was replacing! He said to keep it he would refund my money immediately.That was last week.I'm giving him till Wednesday to get my refund,or else.Nice thing is that he lives less than an hour from me

Ya I wished he lived an hour from me....I can think of a couple of things I'd like to do with those taillights. I have a good idea he's pulled this alot just waiting for people to speak up.

Sorry to hear your transaction turned sour.Send them back since you have no intensions of using them and make him hold true on his end.Ebay has become a breeding ground for dealing junk,fraud.Use the buick sites for your needs,there are alot of great members here that would help out in any way.Post needs in wanted section first.If the member has been here for awhile chances are he/she is a standup individual to deal with.Granted one persons perception vs yours may be different but most sellers will flood you with pictures if asked. Good luck on your cause.

I would love to send them back and get my money back but because he lied about everything else I am not going to. I would rather have these for $200 rather than nothing for $235

I definitely think he exaggerates on the condition of all his items.His feed back record isnt that hot.After sending him a "friendly" email and reminding him I only lived an hour away he immediately sent me a full refund for the junk mirror I bought from him.Those wheel mouldings did look tempting ,but after dealing with him once,I decided to pass.Wicked Sixx I hope all goes well and you get some restitution from this guy.

I'll chime in here too.

Bought a set of black "immaculate", "original" front and rear window trim from him. If it was not so long ago I would point you to the auction. When I received them 2 weeks later I could smell the spray paint!

After some heated emails, I returned the stuff and received almost all my money back. Received no feedback from him either
