Fuel PSI Gauge on Rail Questions...

I just got my gauge & adapter fron Poston's and have a couple install questions...

Do I take out the schrader valve completely when I install this? Also, I assume that I need a thread sealant/teflon tape on the threads? Lastly, how tight is tight enough when screwing them on?

Thanks in advance!
John

yes: Take out the schraeder.
no: tape is not used on that fitting. It seals w/ the male/female flare.
Snug, but don't lean on it! If it weeps, tighten a bit more..

Check the accuracy of the gauge w/ a known good gauge. Some of those minis are not even close!
