GN's are special, apparently.
that's probably the only GN part that's cheaper than one for a regular Regal...

I would guess that they are different because the Turbo buicks have different pistons so the balance would be different, but I cant tell you if that is the real reason for the difference.

I was always told that the turbo flexplate was heavier???
If you are planning on going fast just invest in a SFI plate. Mike at Full Speed has a killer price on them.

i think the problem was my JE pistons are lighter than my stock pistons so he was going to have to remove weight from the flexplate. idk. i live in the middle of a corn field, and we have no buick turbo specialists around here. my machinist builds motors for Tim Wilkerson's top fuel funnycar. i trust him. he's just not a tr v6 specialist. so, we will see........
