e85 engines

Shafiroff Chevrolet Drag Racing Engines and Ultrastreet High Performance Crate Engines

It's interested that it made the same power with a lower c/r and e85 than a higher c/r and gas

With 105 octane of E985, why go with LOWER compression ratio? Doesn't make sense to me unless you are going to use a power adder such as a turbo or supercharger.

13:1 and can run on E85 pump gas........sounds like a winner to me.

Try that with pump gasoline once.........or just use 110 octane race gas and pay $6-plus bucks a gallon.
