first time to the track !

Ok, I was kinda excited as this is the first time to the track with this car with the new build. I kept the boost low for now and hopefully after some tuning I'll turn it up. Hopefully going to Reynold's and turn it up to 25+ to see what she'll do. Here's how it went sat. night at 22lbs.

first pass
2.06 60'
8.02 @98mph

2nd pass
1.9 60'
7.52 @100mph

3rd pass
1.82 60'
7.28 @101mph

4th - 8th pass
1.80 -1.77 60'
7.11 7.12 7.13 7.13 7.14
101-102 mph

I've gotta get some better 60' going. Should have been in the 6.70-6.80 range with some good traction but all I had was street tires. couldn't leave at more than 7-8 lbs.

Its a cotton built 109 bottom end with eagle crank, oliver rods, roller cam. I've got some old stage 3 eastern performance heads, front mount, kb 70mm tb, gtq70 with a 3in. dp and a fast sys. I was a little disappointed because I just knew it was a 6 sec. ride the way it was. With some better 60'ers it was there. I never went over 22lbs. I may go back to the track this sat. night and see if I can launch it better.

7-8 lb launch with street tires .....

I'm doing good to leave on 1 lb on street tires.

What kind of street tires do you have?

ET Streets... that makes more sense.... I've gotten a best 60' of 1.81 so far with my ET Streets...on a stock car except for converter and DP... @ 12-13 psi boost... on a 10 psi launch
