Gas guys at the track

Not a technique question, but an etiquette question......

Do you tip the gas guys at the track? I've seen some people tip them, but I never really have. Don't know if it's expected or what.

Jim

I don't. But then again, I'm a cheap ass TR owner.

Besides, I usually have no money left after buying gas at the track.

I hear ya. The 'blue' is $7 a gallon. They didn't have any 'red' at $8 a gallon.

Island was mobbed yesterday. $30 for 2 runs in 3 hours. I gotta start doing the Friday nights again.

If he or she pumps the fuel for you than you should tip them.It doesnt matter what they make or get paid for on their day job.If you dont want to tip tell them you will pump your own fuel.
