Where To Set Timing On Tt Chip

Bought TT 5.6 42# street 91 oct. 20*/17* 16-17 psi. Running TE 49 - 009 injectors,210/205 cam, 3 inch front inter-cooler. Where should I set my timing at.

have you added mods since ordering chip? if not it should be good to go right out of the box.....you can fine tune it some but TT chips are pretty dead on

Prolly don't want to mess with timing unless you run better fuel or alky.

20*/ 17* is prolly where you want to be.

When a chip is marked 20*/17*, That indicates 20 degrees timing in 1st and 2nd gears and 17* timing in 3rd and 4th. That is your chips default setting.

Unless you are adding octane this is were you should leave it.

So do I leave my timing at 25 atc and the TT chip makes the adjustments for 20* 1-2 gear and 17* 3-4 gear.

your 25 stdc is for cam sensor timing not centrifical timing as in distributors. you chip is already set at 20/17. if you run race gas or alky you can turn it up slow
