10 sec 87 GN

I'm selling my GN to buy a new house. It's a straight car, runs & drives great. I've taken off the A/C & heater, but have everything perfectly to put back including A/C lines. I also have a pristine set of GN wheels & caps to go with it. Needs some minor cosmetic fixes (1 bumper filler needs paint). Other than that it's very sound. I'm looking for $9,000 OBO. I think that's very fair with all the parts I have invested. Interior is very good, I'd say 8 out of 10. I can take more pictures if anyone wants, just let me know. Car runs 10.90's on pump gas, has a lot left.

Engine (Fresh - approx 1000 miles on rebuild)
Stock crank (cryo'd)
Forged pistons (cryo'd)
Stock Rods w/ ARP fasteners (cryo'd)
8445 heads extensively ported w/ Ferrea SS valves
Comp 212/212 FT (cryo'd) (always used EOS)
Intake ported to match heads
Plenum ported to match 62mm TB

Exhaust:
Turbonetics T70BB Turbo
ATR 3" SS external gate DP
Turbonetics Racegate external wastegate
CAS V2 Front mount intercooler
Stock <50K headers (perfect never welded never cracked)

Electronics:
Siemens 72# flowmatch injectors
Stock ECU modded with low Z injector drivers
Extender Extreme chip
LS1 3.5" MAF - (blow-thru)
Translator Version 6.22
AEM Tru-Boost electronic boost controller
Scanmaster 2.1

Alcohol Injection:
SMC non progressive with dual M15 nozzles

Transmission:
Art Carr transmission
Art Car "P" stall non lock torque converter
Lakewood DS loop
Hurst pistol grip Quarter Stick

Suspension:
SSM upper & lower CA's
Lakewood no hop bars
Full Throttle 1 3/8" solid rear sway bar (like old ATR)

Wheels:
Centerline Convo Pros 10's & 4's
Stock GN with centercaps

Brakes:
Vacuum conversion
Wilwood proportioning valve
S-10 rear cylinders

I've got several interested, actually more than expected. I'm going to get the car out this weekend and completely detail it to the max. I'll snap a bunch of pictures and send to anyone who wants. Post here your email if you want pictures.

Thanks,
TRent

Wow! someone got one awesome car! Was there any tricks to the MAF in the up pipe? Does it work any better? I'd like to try that.

No trick other than just moving it physically. I had to cut the intercooler pipe a couple of inches and fab a new MAF pipe. It did shift the tune a little to the rich side, as I think it "saw" a little cleaner air flow signal. Other than that, it improved throttle response quite a bit and spool up improved noticeably.

Shifter plate

I made it out of a piece of corrugated aluminum sign board and then my sign guy made the hurst vinyl for me. It needed a brush or rubber boot inside to cover up the inner area and it would have been perfect.
