door speakers wont work??

My dash speakers work fine but door speakers do not..what could possible be my problem & where to look first? I have the door panels off & wires are going to speakers & are hooked up.any ideas of whats wrong or where to look?

If you got a meter check the impedance. I think it measure 16ohms. Or you can do turn the radio on and put a test speaker there to see if there is outpuut. The dash is wired up parallel with the doors so if the doors are not working then its most likely blown.

Ok..I hooked up other speakers & it still didnt work so I got me a flashlight & started looking & found a connection under dash behind radio..close to the ALDL connector..screwed down & the blue cliped wire that went to the speakers was just sitting there unhooked..dont know how long theyve been unhooked..4-5 years I guess..thanks for the help to get me pushed in the right direction
