Audiowizard...what do you think of this amp?

I want to get this amp to run an MTX 6000 (500w) and a pair of Alpine Type-R 300w 6x9s. Do you think it can do the job?

You won't get a "true" 800 watts for $104.00 dollars and since it is an entry level amp, it will not perform to what you expect. Technically it is an "amplifier" that will amplify the original signal, it will not amplify very cleanly or powerfully especially at higher volumes. If you want to save a few bucks, I always recomend to my customers to shop around and purchase older name brand amplifiers for half or less than half the original retail cost such as RF, Orion, Kicker, etc........... Just like most any product, you get what you pay for and that would be a very weak link in your system.

$150 shipped I will sell you my Kicker ZR360. Its actual output is 550rms @4ohm mono and 725rms@2ohm mono. It will do your sub justice.

Carsound tested and reviewed this model:

Let me know.

EDIT: My bad, your looking at a 4-channel amp. I quit reading after you listed the sub I guess. lol
