10" subwoofer mounting hole

Is a 9" mounting hole standard for 10" subwoofers? Just curious if there is a variance between brands.

yes there is a difference for some reason, and it can be pretty signifigant. My Image Dynamics vs Polk Audio was almost 3/4 inch variation. You should be able to find the specs online for most any woofer mounting hole diam.

Cast VS Stamped will make a big difference. typically they run between 9-9.125
