Question Audiowizard - I have a question.

I currently have a RF Punch 360a2 amp.
I have already built a sealed box for 2 - 10's, which has .75ft. of air space per speaker.(Plain MDF rectangular box w/ divider board in the center.)

Here is my question.
If I buy 2 RF Punch HE2's (10"), will my amp power these?
If so, what would be the best way of wiring the speakers up?

This setup is going in the Mustang.

Thanks,
Ross

You can run the voice coil in series to create a 8 ohm load on each sub then parallel both subs together (+ to +, - to -) so the amp will see a 4 ohm load and bridge the amp in mono configuration to get the most power out of it. If you need any help on the wiring just let me know.

I think the 360a2 bridged into 4 ohm mono will put out around the 500 watt range and will be plenty of power for those He2s.

When wiring your subs, always check your impedence with a DVM to make sure that you are wired correctly befor firing up your amp, that will lessen the chance of mistakes and burning up an amp. Just a safety tip from yours truly .
