Alarm system LED idea/question
I just installed a Viper 791xv in my car today, and rather than drilling new hole for the LED, I installed it in the factory "Security" light in the dash cluster. Here's the problem, the led that came with the alarm isn't bright enough by far. Has anyone tried this and if so what kind of led did you use and how did you rig it up?

Install the LED right up to the security light on the dash or you can purchase one of those varad led's. On the LED that comes with the alarm you can remove the LED out of the housing that might make it brighter inside the security light in the dash.
