Power antenna Conversion
I have been thinking about replacing my old fixed mast antenna with a power unit to make using my car cover easier and need some ideas. First, are these cars pre-wired for power antennas? Second, would a later model GM antenna work or would it be better to buy an aftermarket one? Give me some ideas!

FWIW & IMHO:
Might want to do a search on this on the Ihadav8, turbo6power, & our sister board, the one not mentionable here. There were quite a few posts & threads about 2 months ago. The posts weren't necessarily on conversions, but the power antenna in general, its repair, & why not to install the dealer recommended replacement antenna. HTH
