Help/advice 99GM CD

I have just bought a 1999 Suburban.It has the factory radio/cassette/cd player.
I just tried to play a cd.CD will not work.I pushed the cd in,as it would not pull it in.
Radio and the cassette work good.
Any suggestions on what to do with the problem?
Where is the break point on scrapping the factory stuff and going aftermarket?
Thanks
Austin

Sounds like the drive belt or drive switch is bad.
I would call around to salvage yards and see what they want for one...you could always go aftermarket as well

Most repair shops charge a minimum of 125.00+ for a repair + the R&R
