Question ? for GMP diecast gurus

I just recently picked up a 1987 Turbo T Somerset blue 1:18th scale.. Now I have a few questions... On the white outer box it says the company's name I bought it from (diecastmuscle.com i believe) Is the white outer box susposed to have their logo and website on the box? Also the car didnot come w a window sticker... Do all TRs by GMP come w a miniwindow sticker??? If the box shouldnt have the other name on it and if its susposed to have a window sticker is it really woth tht much??? By the way I picked it up for $53 shipped... Mint all around.. And its # 235 Thnaks.....

I have both the regular blue and the blue chrome cars from them. Its been awhile and if memory serves, I think mine came the same way as yours. As far as value, not sure, but what you paid sounds about right.

I have #452 Blue and my box reads the same, many of the 1/18th GMP's including the Blue T did not come with the window card.

Only 87 GN/86 GN/85 GN/Red,White,Silver,Black&grey "T"/ 8 in total had the window card.

The 3 mini-series form Epitome had a different numbered card that specs collector number car. (only 2 had those)

Paid $69.95 from Eptome in mid 2004 when first released, so you got a good deal as there was only 1000 made.

You can see the cars that have these additonal cards in my collection of GMP cars

Hope this helps , Quick 6 Racing

That car was produced by MTR through GMP. Retail price was $64.99 and wholesale was $55, so $53 isn't a bad deal at all. With only 1,000 made it really should sell for at least what was originally paid for it. We haven't had that car in quite a while now. No window sticker came with that car.

Good job!! Now if I could find a deal on the Yellow Flame car and the sage T, my 1:18 collection would be complete.

Other than the two Buick " T's " due in April from Epitome, my collection is 96% complete.

I'm still looking to buy the 87 Blue Somerset "Xmas Edition"..........
