Question Anyone seen the new American Graffitti 1/24 scale regal

Curious if anyone had seen or heard of a new release by Motomax under the American Graffitti series. I have just bought one tonight and had never seen or heard of this release yet. It is basically the motormax 1/24 scale car with an "American Graffitti" decal on back quarter panel right over the regal emblem. It is in the A.G series box and states it as being a 1987 Buick Regal. It appears to be a Turbo Regal with the hood bulge and all. (chrome Bumpers, etc...just like the motomax cars.) It is black in color. Anyone else seen one of these yet???? Could post a pic if anyone wants to see it. Not a newbie here. (aka Kent Buckles)

Blackbird..... That is the regular motormax Regal. These have been out for a long time. The one I am talking about is the American Graffitti series Buick Regal. It is the same car BUT has American Graffitti logo on back quarter panel and COMES IN A BOX from American Graffitti series. Same car, different look and series!

What store did you get this at?

Looks like Motormax is taking advantage of this Regal mold & using it in several different packages (it's also in the Sweet Cherries series)...

That car in that package makes absolutely no sense at all.

It makes even less sense in their "Sweet Cherries" series which takes mundane vehicular abominations (Maverick, Pinto, Pacer, Gremlin, Vega) and makes them look like they're something special.

Chuck,
That's exactly what I thought. I had picked up a couple of the 1/87 scale Fieros from the American Graffitti series for a good friend of mine. I thought that was really strange since the movie is about cars from another era. Then the Regal shows up! I had to buy it just the same. I am actually wanting the Sweet Cherries version if anyone has one to sale. Thanks, Kent

Found one today, was about to post (before seeing this post ) $10 @ Walgreens here in Houston (only saw one & bought it). Black w/ Turbo T on front quarter panel; grey interior, blackout trim & chrome bumpers and a hood ornament!?!
But, hey, $9.99...
