I was collecting the 1/18 Buick TR's. Got them all but never any 84's released. Anyone know why that is? Kinda makes an incomplete collection.

1984 GMP GN model

I agree... I asked Epitome about the 1984 models... he said because there wouldn't be any interest in them. I know I'd buy one, I have ALL of the rest and feel cheated without it!

Perhaps if others are interested in buying the 1984 model, we all could let our desires known and Epitome would consider having one made. Maybe he just doesn't realize that we DO want to buy the 1984 version! Let's all tell him!! Whattaya say??

I agree. I would buy the 2 84 models in a second. The collection is incomplete without them. They made the 83 Concept the next logical step is the 84 Models. They made 2 86 Ttypes and numerous other 87's in different styles. Only makes sense to finish it off with the 84's for completion. Throw a 78 in there too for beginning.

Can you buy the WE4 seperately? I just bought a real one (!) and would like a scale one to match.

doesn't look like it, I just looked at their web site and you can only get it as a 3 car set, I want one also but I can't see them getting my money for the other 2 cars that I already have just to get one car that I want! If they sell me just that one I would buy one in a second! Daniel Ray

Bring On The We4 :)

i would buy an 84 gn but it is the same as 85 and i say no to the 78. what i want is some cool colored 87 t's(2tone brown, gold,or rare never seen colors) and lets mix things up with a full drag 87 t, strip we4, and how about a high miles daily driven 87 gn/t's.

Yeah i'm not about to buy 2 other cars I don't need (who needs any of them?) but if one was available out of the set I'd buy it immediately. then they'd just have to put out a set of convo pros with ET streets and skinnies up front and i'd be happy!

Keep watching the board and, dare I say, ebay. I know I will have an extra that I probably will sell individually when the cars arrive. They are super nice and should be in everyones collection

Got mine today too. Did anyone happen to notice the two mistakes on the WE4? One very subtle error is the tri-shield emblem on the steering wheel horn ring instead of the "T" symbol. Second error is flagrant, IMO. They put the "REGAL" emblem on the rear quarters! Buick left these off on both Grand Nationals and WE4s. Wonder what it would take to paint over it to hide it? OR, will it actually increase the value of the model? I doubt it.
