8.5 posi rear end
Hello, I have a line on a 8.5 posi rearend. The gentleman tells me it is a 2.73 gear. Will a lower gear (higher number) fit in this rear with minimal hassle? I am looking at 3.23 or 3.55. Thanks, Scott

You'll need a 3 series carrier if you want to run lower gears. The 2.73 uses a 2 series carrier.
