1 Wheel cylinder not as tight
Guys, I replaced both rear brake wheel cylinders since I replaced the rear shoes/springs and for those who have replaced the wheel cyl know that they don't have 2 mounting bolts to bolt to the backing plate but use locking clips.
One side is slightly looser than the other side. Is this ok for this GM cheapo design?

I had to "adjust" my clips back when I changed mine some years ago. They seemed a tad loose IMO. I don't like the design either. Haven't had a problem yet.

When you say "not tight", you mean that you can twist it some in the slot right? If so, this could be potentially dangerous (no brake on that wheel).
I buddy has been working with Monte SS's for years, and he said it may have been a recall years ago (??). Anyway he had an extra backing plate, and I swapped my bad one out. The SS's had the same rear end as the GN.
