15x10 CL

got a deal on pair of 15x10 Center lines, i think bs is around 4.5 to 5".
what size tire works best with these wheels? my choices right now are 275/60/15 or 275/50/15 bf gr drag radials, the 60's are regular radial tires. Is the 10" wheel too wide for the 60's.

Newest mods are: TE-44 & Alky control kit (finally) & A Turbo Tweak Alky chip to make it all complete.

A 275/60/15 would fit fine, it's when you put 50 series tires on a 10" wheel, is when it severely stretches the tire. Here is a picture of my old 15x10" Pro Star 4.5" Back Spacing, with a regular 295/50/15 BFG Radial T/A.

A 275/50/15 would be stretched to it's limits on a 10" wheel. Either a 275/60/15 Drag radial or 295/50/15 Radial T/A for cruising. With the right modifications, you can fit a 325/50/15 MT ET Drag Radial on those wheels. Modifications being rolled fender lips and dual air bags. Assuming that your rear end is perfectly centered. If not, that wheel/tire would require a spacer on the side it's kicked over on.

thanks for the reply @ the pic. i like the 28" tall 275/60 , so i will probably go with those, just trying to keep from changing tires and wheels when i go to the track. the 275/60 are regular radial tires that would not hook good @ the track.

A 275/60/15 on a 10" rim would bring the overall diameter somewhere between 27.5" to 27.75" there abouts. Depending on whose tire it is as not all 275/60s are created equal. I've measured that size tire on an 8" rim before and they were a true 28" diameter.

that 275/60 would probably clear frame and outer wheel lip better, because i do not want to use spacers if all possible.
