Question Baer Brakes

Has anyone bought these for their TR? What type of results did you get? Are they worth the $$$? What would you have changed with your purchase? Thanks!

Cool

I am pleased with them.

I took my time & had them installed in about 1 hour each side. Piece of cake to install.

With '84 & '85 Gn wheels, I had no clearance problems. With '87 TR wheels, I had to use a 5/32" spacer.

Cost, they are expensive. I really feel I got my money's worth. Jack Cotton gave me a good price.

Now, I want rear disks. Having trouble deciding which way to go - F... 9" or Vette IRS. Both are very expensive & currently the penny jar ain't full.

HTH,

Roger

Cool

Got all 4 on my GN and he!! yeah they work!!!

Work fine with the powermaster as well, you remove 2 parts from the proportioning valve for the rear bias when you add the rears.

Got the 12" on the front and whatever the kit is on the back 12's I think, only one rear kit to choose from.

About $2100 for all of them mine have the zinc washed rotors and slots not drilled.

Here's a link to a photo album with some pics. of stuff on the car.

Mine fit fine with the AR-23 15" alum. wheels front and rear.

Click any one pic. to enlarge it.
