Hydro Boost Brakes
I have an 83 T-type and it appears that the power booster unit of the hydo-boost system is leaking power steering fluid from the firewall end. Is this a common failure point on these systems?
Should I consider this piece toast and go get a new one or is it repairable. Any input is appreciated. TIA Greg 87 GN 83 T-Type |

Mine does not leak and it does not appear to be rebuilt.
They sell rebuild kits for them, The instructions are at gn/ttype should work mostly for the 83, after all the 83 was the first early version of it. http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/brakes/brakespage.html Here's the link just in case. HTH Jim
