Hydro Boost Brakes

I have an 83 T-type and it appears that the power booster unit of the hydo-boost system is leaking power steering fluid from the firewall end. Is this a common failure point on these systems?
Should I consider this piece toast and go get a new one or is it repairable.

Any input is appreciated.

TIA

Greg

Mine does not leak and it does not appear to be rebuilt.
They sell rebuild kits for them, The instructions are at gn/ttype should work mostly for the 83, after all the 83 was the first early version of it.
