Finally got to the track

Hello All;

I finally got up to LVD today . It was hot & humid the effective attitude was Around 3000' .Plus there was a 20 MPH head wind. I only got to make 3 passes . The best pass was a 13.71 @ 96.13 (which corrects out to a 13.20 @99.80 ).

This was with the alky off , C16 in the tank @ 21# of boost.

I learned 2 things too day . One I need to put the bigger carb back on. Remember to bring the timing light with me.

The first pass @ 17# only yeided a uncorrected 13.9 @94.20 mph

Last pass I turn the secoundary limter to limit the flow to see if I was gettting too much carb. that yeilded a 13.92 @94.65mph (uncorrected) @19 # of boost.

So the old carb goes back togetheir and we take another shot next weekend.
