I installed a FAST SEFI in my car this year and just before starting the Engine I heard the Alky Control Shooting Full Blast as I turned on the Ignition. So to start eliminating the problem I dis-connected the Green Wire to the MAP and it does NOT turn on. Last year with the ECM the Alky worked Flawless.
Has anyone had this problem before. The FAST is New, so is the Casper Jumper Box and the I installed the MAP Jumper to re-use the MAP in the stock location. Seems to me that the MAP Wires are giving a Full Boost Reading!! HELP... ![]()

Check Voltage
There should be a Ground, a 5 volt in, and Output / signal Voltage will be whatever the Pressure is. If you have 5 volts on the Signal, something is crossed.

Easy test, switch alky kit off. Measure voltage at the center wire on the 3 bar MAP.. typically factory wiring is the green wire .. "Key On" It should read 1.6 volts engine not running at sea level. Next switch the alky kit "ON".. and see if it activates or not with 1.6 on the green wire.. This will answer where to look for the problem.
Scenario.. your 3 bar loses ground on the black wire.. if so the green will measure 5 volts DC as it loss it reference. In that case.. my controller see's 5 volts and thinks your at 30 PSI boost. There always is the chance the controller can have an issue. While they have been virtualy bullet proof as reliable.. there is always the chance. If its electronic.. it can fail. But before we get ahead.. lets do some basic troubleshooting and confirm the MAP voltage is at 1.6 Key ON. Cool.. I'll be at BG attending the Nats Tommorrow Wed-Sat.. I may or may not be able and respond here on the board.. if you need to contact me.. call me as my calls from the shop are forwarded to my cell phone .. this months bill is gonna be a doooozy I will be back at the shop on Monday next week.727-570-9999

Yeah, Thats what I was trying to say... I've seen lost grounds on a 3 bar send a dfi system to full fuel

Update
OK
Here is what's going on. Green Wire from car Harness is 4.90 Volts ( MAP Wires ) Green Wire from Alky is .004 Volts These are measured with the Alky Green unplugged from Green of car. Does that tell you anything??

That means you have lost ground. trace the ground and fix it. ( it's in the group on the back of the head I think)
Green is the signal. should not have that much voltage just sitting there.

Gray is +5 Green is signal Black is ground. If you lose/bad connection on the black.. you will see +5(in your case 4.9) on the green wire. Jump a ground to the black wire on the 3 bar.. bet your problem goes away. And connections to the MAP sensor are CRITICAL. So dont do questionable connections HTH

I am wondering if the connections on the Casper Jumper are not good!! And is it normal that their is a Red Light always lit on the Casper`s Jumper box with the Ignition Key OFF? Thanks again Joe

Somewhat Right
Grounds are good like I thought. So I backtracked to what I did this year.
Engine, Trans and a FAST. So I took my Volt Meter in the Car and started from the Caspers Adapter Module. The Connector from the Module is correct. Casper uses a Red instead of a Gray Wire. So 4.92 Volts on the Red, Signal on the Green and the Black for Ground. At the Map Sensor I have the opposite with the Gray and Green. So seems to me that the Casper MAP Adapter # 108119 is badly configured. So what do I do!! Call John and tell him the problem, or reverse the Gray and the Green Wire at the Map and connect the Alky Green to the Gray?? Do you follow me up to here!! Has this problem have occured before?!

I cannot give tech on the Caspers harness. Thats theirs.
You have a plug on the car behind the coolant tank.. the factory one. That one has the correct orientation. You can use that as a reference. Wiring issues are one thing. Wiring issues on a 20 year old car are another. Wiring issues on a 20 year old modified ar with afermarket "stuff".. there you go. You may have a bad 3 bar sensor.. but before you can assumme this.. you have to make sure the wires on the plug are in fact oriented in the correct location. And that the sensor is a 3 bar. If you have a stock GN laying around.. plug the 3 bar into it.. and measure the center wire on the 3 prong plug=green wire=1.6 key on. HTH

Solved
After speaking with John at Casper's, he told me what to look for and the 3 Bar Adapter had 2 wires crossed.
Great help from John..Everything is back to normal. Thanks everyone for helping out. Joe
