Pump runs on its own...Julio please look inside.
One of my customers brought his GN to me yesterday and says that he's driving down the road and the car started to run like crap and bog down. He continues on to a safe place to stop on the highway and the next thing he notices is his low alky level light came on. Shortly after the low level light came on he notices that the car cleaned up and ran great. He stops, pops the hood and notices that the once full alky is now empty. I'm thinking the MAP sensor went bad and triggered the pump...any other ideas Julio (it's one of your kits)??? What would cause this? BTW, when he turns off the controller the alky pump stops running.

Joe, have him unplug the 3 bar MAP and see if the system appears to be running normal. If so, then the problem points to the MAP sensor.
At that point, next move is to confirm 5 volts on the MAP sensor gray wire, and confirm Ground on the black wire.. if so.. the green wire key ON should be ~1.6volts. If the green wire is 1.6 then my system should not be running. My thoughts.. dirty or bad contacts on the MAP plug black ground terminal. Hit me back, Julio

I had a similar issue, The main harness fell down onto the hot downpipe and melted a few of the wires. Apparently on of the ones that melted grounded out and fooled the system into thinking the car was at full boost causing a lot of alky to flow when it wasn't needed.
