more boost instead of timing?

Just wondering why that is. I thought it would be better to run less boost and say 19# and 29deg. Any thoughts on this. I just got my alky kit and its very nice indeed.
Thanks for any info

Chris

Increasing either will increase the tendancy for knock to happen. Now more power is made by increasing air though the motor(boost) than by adding timing.

If your out of turbo... add timing to increase HP.

Example.. stock turbo.. once you hit 22-23 PSI.. your out of gas.. so add timing.

Adding timing in lower gears will also allow for a lot faster car.

I see..

I have read the YOUR manual like six times.

I don't think I will have a problem with my turbo not being big enough. So from what your say more timing in first and second and back it off on top. My friend Says he has got some meth for me too. This is going to be lots of fun. Now just the install
