Razor's Alky Kit

Hi,

I've got the SMC Alky kit. Not sure how "old" it is as I have the round bottle and I think the newer one has a square bottle. Haven't driven the Buick in like 2 years and it looks like there's been some improvements in alky injection. I'm thinking about the progressive alky kit by Razor and would like to see how much work is involved in the install. Can someone please post the complete installation instructions so I can get an idea as to what's involved.

TIA!

just buy it..dont be scared, its easy..and it comes with perfect directions...you have a factory low fuel lite already on your car that will lite-up when your low on alky and a factory power injection lite that also is already on your car that lites up when your into the alky...this set-up is alot nicer than what you have and when it comes to money and time, its alot less money and alot less time than rebuilding a motor also if you EVER have problems or need some help julio is a phone # away and a great person too...

Basically, I'm interested in whether any connections need to be made at the ECM. I just got done putting in the Bstc boost controller and the Translator + "samarai style" with all connections at the ECM. So if the Razor kit needs to tie into the ECM; I won't wrap up all the wiring that's been exposed at the moment.

only connection youll make to the stock harness is to the MAP sensor output which can be done under the hood at the sensor since you will already be running the wires that way for the pump and the low alky sensor and replacing the 2BAR map sensor (GN) with the new 3BAR sensor .

then the only other connection to the car is ground and battery off the fuse box , and a couple new leds and a bulb to route up into to the dash

so the only dissasembly will be to run the leds and bulb and that can be done with the cluster still inplace (just remove the i/p plate and then the two lenses from the idiot panels) and you need to drop the small panel and hush panel from under the steering column to make the connections and mount the power dist box and to tie in the wires from the engine bay , really its not hard but since your doing it the first time and trying to be nice with the routing you may try things a couple times to get them to be the way you want which will add to the install time , and you will need to remove and drill the uppipe for the nozzle
first time i did alot of what if i run it here and then what if i try here and it took 4 hours on a friday night to do the mechanicals and what not under the hood and sat morning in the light i did the electrical connections which took about another 4 hrs .
julios kit is well planned out and goes in almost too easy and instuctions are very clear for the connections
he is usually very easy to get a hold of if you have any questions and he posts his PH# in his sig and even though he is a busy guy he seems to enjoy talking .

oh and just so you know your old indash factory led boost gauge wont read accurately (if it does now which most dont ) unless you do a custom intatall and keep the old 2BAR as is and run a new harness and vac feed for the new 3BAR,
