Alky vs Race gas times
Hi!
I will start this list... I did go 8.39 with race gas as fastest and I have went 8.25 with alky as fastest to this date... Ok, I had a few more mods on the 8.25 time, but I have not tuned in the alky kit yet. The times is ofcourse on 1/8 mile. The only thing that is strange to me is the mph... Did 92 on racegas and just 87 on alky. But it can be the tuning. How has you other people performed, faster or slower on alky ? Daniel

Hmm, well mine isnt a completly fair comparison as I only had one run with alky verses over a 100 on race gas, and on my alky run a complication came up and i blew both headgaskets, but on the same 24 psi i went a best on race gas of 11.45 at 117.6, my best 1/8 mile trap was a 94.7 with the TC locked and on my run with alky and no other mods, it went 95.7 mph with the TC not locked(off idle launch though). i'll have it back at the track soon and see what happens.

Dads 86 GN-ported heads, 204/214, ATR headers/exhaust, PT61, 60s, alky, 3400 9/11, ebay front mount (supporting mods...) 11.42 at 124.13mph 24 psi. modded 85 GN and now a new 87 T.
