Julio???

When the pump is installed on the bumper bracket, do you cut or break the 8 metal ears around the 2 rubber bumpers (4 each) on the pump bracket so that the bracket is flat against the bumper bracket?

Also, it looks as though the opening in the 90* pump inlet brass elbow has to point towards the rear of the car?

Thanks.

I just mounted mine with the ears still on, it really doesn't matter. I had 2 extra nuts, so I left the original nuts on and put the pump on then the additional 2 nuts. I run a 'glass bumper so I didn't want to really torque the mounting nuts down. I pointed my 90 degree fitting kinda upwards at like a 45 degree angle towards the headlight, worked good.

Thanks Sam...

Also... Do not over tighten the fittings on the pump. By hand and a little tweak. All you want is for it to seal, tighten them too much... you can break the pump. If it doesnt leak.. leave'm alone. Same on the hoses.. just enough for them to seal.

T-minus two weeks for BG
