Julio aka Alkycontrol.com Exceeds all Expectations!!

After blowing a set of Headgaskets due to a failed SMC pump, I had to seek out a better Alky kit since i was addicted.
Fortunately for me I lived 35 minutes away from Julio Don & after several phones paid him a visit.
I was not only impressed w/ his 89 TTA, but with his professional mannerism & his sincere interest in my 86 T Type.
After discovering BLM'S of 150+, he did the right thing by spending hours diagonising to remedy the situation & not adding insult to injury by selling me one of his KITS & thanking me for the business. He wanted me to be happy w/my car, it wasn't about the money, what a breath of fresh air!!
I helped Julio install his Alky kit on my car, having a Degree in Electronics I easily recognized the the quality of the components compared to my previous Alky kit.
I love the way the car performs, progressively adding alky according to boost levels(not flooding/dumping un-determined amounts like other kits or diy's), the reservoir tank is over 1 gallon & looks stealth, when alky is low-my low fuel light that is in my factory dash comes on, & now i can see when my alky comes on @ what boost level due Julio's install of red LED next to my boost guage, But Lastly is the pump NOT sitting in alky waiting to go bad, its a Mac Daddy Surflo pump thats out of site(hidden)
LONG live my Headgaskets & my Alky addiction
PEACE n Joy
PS- I think there's a group purchase going on
& No, this isn't a paid advertisement, just my own factual experience, & Thanks Julio for being Geniune & Sincere-& most of all a friend-God Bless

Thumbs up Sounds like a cool settup

Whats the pump sitting in the alcohol have to do with anything?? The pump in the SMC kit looks pretty good to me among other things, sorry yours failed. Mines been in for several years now without a problem but I always keep the tank filled with alcohol because I thought letting the pump cavitate was what killed them. Did SMC really tell you that an alky kit would solve your BLM problem or am I reading your implication wrong? Also if you have a degree in electronics and noticed that the SMC kit was made of inferior quality stuff why did you install it? Why not just send it back for a refund if you thought it was junk? Sorry to hear about your headgaskets and thanks for the info on Julios kit, sounds like a progressive system is the way to go.

No comment on the pump issues. One egg I dont want to scramble any more.

turbot2496, what happened was HG blew, upon investigation it was found that the "U know what had failed".. car taken to a mechanic to have the HG's replaced..well among other things..after surgery.. it developed the high BLM condition. I wont put alky on a car that has high blm's or any other tuning issue. Once the BLM was corrected, the install went smooth. Always does.

Thats the problem when an engine breaks, either you rip it apart, if you can/ have time, or get someone to do it for you.. but like all operations sometimes further surgery becomes required. By a different surgeon

Steve was nice, he charged under 100 for a new pump and bottle assembly.

Vitaman2, glad my system is working for you.

Those reading this have no idea what vitaman2 has been through the last few months..it all started with a simple failure, and the rest of the snowball has been huge. Between the wrong head gaskets used and needing to be replaced, twice, stripped bolts, cracked header, it went on and on..there is so much.. sorry but wasnt my fault.

SalvageV6 .. hehe glass half full or half empty
